For more than two decades the writer Kate Figes has written highly successful books that navigate the course of women’s lives. Throughout that time she has been friends with the short story writer Helen Simpson who has written about similar themes in her fiction and their conversations have revolved around life stages such as motherhood, marriage and mid life. In their first session together at any festival, they will be sharing some of those insights, as well as reading from their latest books Cockfosters, and On Smaller Dogs and Larger Life Questions in which Kate writes about living with a life threatening disease, sharing her intelligent and passionate approach to life, friendship, love and tennis….Buy tickets
