Amy Acre writes love-struck, impetuous, lecherous rhymes to reclaim a soul sold for a career in advertising. She’s performed poetry everywhere from Ronnie Scott’s to Tooting Market, and in locations as exotic as Melbourne, Kerala and Essex.
She runs a monthly open mic night called Sage & Time, and is one fifth of the Dirty Hands poetry collective. She’s been published in Poetry Review, Popshot and the Rhyming Thunder Alternative Book of Young Poets, and won a Farrago Zoo Award for Best Slam Performance of 2011. She writes about things that matter, like toothpaste, S&M and Back To The Future.
