Sue Quinn

Sue Quinn
Sue Quinn is an award-winning food writer, journalist and cookbook author. Her articles and recipes regularly appear in the UK’s leading food publications including the Telegraph, the Sunday Times, the Guardian, Delicious, BBC Good Food, Sainsbury’s and Dorset magazine. She travels widely to report on food trends and food producers, and also specialises in investigating the facts behind the headlines of topical food and health issues.

Sue has written more than a dozen cookbooks (her next book, Cocoa, was published in March 2019 by Quadrille) on a range of topics, from Japanese and Spanish cuisine to children’s cookery and healthy eating.

Born in Australia, Sue began her career as a news reporter, working for News Ltd International in Sydney and Canberra, before moving the UK as London correspondent. After a stint at the Guardian as a home news reporter, she went freelance, and began her specialism in food writing and editing in 2007.

She is a member of the Guild of Food Writers, is a regular judge for the Guild of Fine Food’s Great Taste Awards, and has judged for Delicious magazine’s Best British Food Producer awards. Sue also has completed accredited courses in chocolate and cheese tasting.
